Fabrique Art Studio and “Our Culture First” association in Tunis have launched, in partnership with Four Season festival in Morocco and Future Female Sound organization in Denmark and with the financial support of Afaq Fund, a network of females and non-binary people in the digital arts industry in the MENA region under the name “FeMENA”. 

The “FeMena” network seeks to create, empower, support, expand a database, and establish networking frameworks for production, distribution and creation of accurate representative studies for females and non-binary people who are beginners and/or practicing music and digital arts in the Middle East and North Africa region.

FeMena believes that creating this network is the main path that leads to building a large movement that will stand up against all types of discrimination and inequalities that females and non-binary people face on a daily basis in the creative industry in general. We do this by celebrating their achievements at various levels: politically, socially and artistically.

FeMena as a network aims to provide research material for women’s digital creative industries on a variety of levels. We aim to provide multiple evidence and academic tools for all independent cultural actors to make meaningful changes and transform their lives.
